Join Nicole Nichols and explore the primary inversions—hand stand, forearm stand, head stand, and shoulder stand. You’ll get personalized alignment tips, use props for stability, and practice techniques to help you go upside down safely and effectively.

This workshop is geared to help you overcome the fear and disorientation that often accompany inversion practice. Everyone will have a space to work at the wall; we’ll learn alignment principles with balance and strength-building techniques. All are welcome, especially beginners, and experienced practitioners will learn advanced techniques.

Sunday 4pm Teachers’ Practice: The Art of Yoga Assists (2 hours), Drop-in $40

Neither “corrections” nor “adjustments,” yoga assists are a means to achieve stability and depth in the practice. Join Nicole Nichols and discover the fine art and practice of giving yoga assists. This workshop is designed for those who wish to develop and hone their teaching techniques to include safe and effective assists. We will focus on alignment principles, how prana flows through a pose, common misalignments, props, and dynamic hands-on techniques that include poses such as twists, back bends, binds, inversions and hip openers. Learn how to enhance your student’s yoga practice by working together to turn each asana into an extraordinary experience of body, breath and energy.

It is recommended that participants have a 200-hour (or higher) yoga certification, and/or strong practical experience with yoga asana.

Kundalini & the Vayus Monthly Series w/Shannon Earthtree

Fourth Saturday of each month, begins July 23, 8am (90 mins), Cost: all regular passes apply; $30 drop-in

Offered the fourth Saturday of every month, beginning in July and continuing through October @ 8-9:30am.

In this 4 part series, we will focus on the Vayus in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga. The Vayus give us a way to understand and feel how energy flows in the body. If you would like to be more in touch with your energetic system, this is for you!

You have probably heard of Prana, and maybe Apana. If you study yogic philosophy, you know there is also Udana, Samana, and Vyana to explore. We will experience each of these forces, the elements, parts of the body, and movement they each relate to.

The Vayus are a rich and vast field to study. This new (or refreshed) understanding will deepen your yogic practices.

See you on July 23rd at 8am for our first exploration together. Can’t wait!

All are welcome:) Please attend as many as you can make it to.

Sacred Sound Cacao Ceremony

Thursday, Sept, 22, 7pm

Cost: $35 per session

The sacred spirit plant medicine of Cacao brings harmony to the planet by internally balancing each person that consumes it. Cacao opens the heart and mind allowing us to access deeper parts of ourselves. It accelerates healing, enhances creativity and improves focus giving us the opportunity to release the inner pain and struggle.

We will start the ceremony with a blessing and set intention while we drink the cacao. During this dialogue and as the cacao begins to take effect, we will transition into a deeper state of relaxation with sacred sound.

We suggest minimizing eating two hours before the ceremony to optimize the full benefits of the cacao. We will be seated or reclined for the duration of the ceremony so please brings a yoga mat and whatever you may require to be comfortable on the floor.
